We designed the shop so customers can see our popcorn being made. No tricks, no shortcuts, no production line that sacrifices quality for volume. Customers can see each balanced mix of mushroom and butterfly popcorn flow from the hot air popper, watch as we mix our special cheese into the tumbler; or see the carameliser mixing and coating our rich caramel recipes.
Hospitality and fun are two crucial qualities we aim to create and preserve, to share with all who come through our door.

The Art of Popcorn
Popkin's Artisan Popcorn is a family business founded in 2021.
We love things that pop: pop music, pop culture, pop art, the weasel... and popcorn. We found that with a little imagination, a modicum of patience and a lot of passion, we could make popcorn that is truly special. Popcorn that really pops. We found a perfect little shop with a distinct pop of its own, and started Popkin's.
Popkin's began as a retail shop, selling directly to customers. As our reputation grew, we received requests from luxury hotels and resorts to stock our popcorn. So, the next time you find yourself opening the mini-bar in your hotel while on holiday, you may discover Popkin's waiting for you.
Demand also grew from people across the country wanting to enjoy our deliciously Australian, small-batch popcorn. And so we began offering our online ordering service.
